However, I agree with the comment about him taking the US national team much further in the World Cup than the Scots could ever hope for. As a big Tartan Army fan, I hope they get the best person for the job, but is that Bruce Arena? On the plus side, he has taken the US MNT to farther in the World Cup than any Scottish side has gone, the debacle in Germany notwithstanding. Still, I think the mental leap of having an American in charge over there will be huge, possibly too huge, to overcome. I find it hard to believe that anyone other than a Scot will land that job, but there doesn't seem to be a line forming outside the SFA offices, so why not il Bruce?Marteknoreply@blogger.com
