I knew better than to be out that late but I had stuff to do so I had to bend the rules. We were just outside of Curitiba on our way to the small town of Timbu (chim-boo). The bus stop was close to a truck stop along the highway. As we were waiting for the bus we saw from the distance what initially looked like a trio of ladies-of-the-evening walking from the neighborhood up to the truck stop. Unfortunately our bus stop was in between the two. As the "ladies" got closer it was very apparent that they were in fact not ladies but rather gentelmen-of-the-evening. I look nothing at all like a Brazilian and its quite apparent, they could tell. When they got close one of them said "Hey boy", girlishly in english. To which I tested "her" english vocabulary by responding "whats up dudes!" They just laughed and kept on going. This is the first time I've shared this story north of the equator.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/37817754/4057596231378096935/comments/default/7295688410694852470'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/37817754/4057596231378096935/comments/default/7295688410694852470'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://theoffsiderules.blogspot.com/2008/04/old-ronaldo-takes-up-playing-crying.html?showComment=1209504840000#c7295688410694852470' title=''/><author><name>Jay Five</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://theoffsiderules.blogspot.com/2008/04/old-ronaldo-takes-up-playing-crying.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37817754.post-4057596231378096935' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/37817754/posts/default/4057596231378096935' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
