NSR: Foster the People "Pumped Up Kicks"

Sorry but it's stuck in my head and I can't bear to suffer alone; FTP really are the bastard child of Vampire Weekend and Maroon 5.

i have to agree with your assessment and it is for that reason that i'm not sure if i should like them or consider them corporate label crap. their album has some solid songs but it also has some real junkers as well.

I love this song but sort of wish I never watched the dude actually sing it. He's trying pretty hard to look sensitive.

Several of my friends got obsessed with this song a few months ago... I just don't hear it. And I love Vampire Weekend. It's just alright for me.

Also, to SF...

They released the full soundtrack for FIFA 12. Some good stuff on there, as per usual. Demo is out tomorrow... Don't act like you're not worried about the amount of time you'll have to resist wasting.

I literally heard this song everyday for a 8 days straight, without having to play it. All in very weird situations. What I'm trying to say, it's everywhere.

Everyone tells me that but I never heard it until I heard a remix in someone's DJ set. I think I've just been listening to my own music too much and not enough of anyone else's.

I like this song but the rest of the album wasn't really my thing.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I agree with LydiaBrunch.

As for recommendations... Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Canon Blue.
