The Sounders Should Have an Official Facepaint Sponsor
This isn't a judgment, just a statement: there is a lot of face-painting and headwear going on in Seattle these days. I never noticed before but there's some serious SoccerCon™ sh*t going on up there; it's like a KISS show where the climax of Gene Simmons' fire-eating has been replaced by a Jeff Parke stoppage time goal.
And is it just me or does the one wing-headed dude look like Adrian Brody?

If face-painting is your thing fine, but I feel like adults who paint their faces do it in hopes of getting some face time on TV.
That whole Seattle "we had green first" thing is shockingly ignorant, heinous, and exactly the reason the Timbers Army and other rational soccer fans despise the sounders.
Awful, awful taste, and further proof that Sounders fans are the most ignorant in the country.
An ECS member was also quoted in the Seattle Times the next morning spewing his notion that Seattle Sounders were like the big brother to Portland Timbers, mostly responsible for bringing them into the league. This is particularly laughable once one has considered the attendance numbers for the past decade in the USL/USSF-2 eras, with the Timbers regularly out-drawing the Sounders, even with Seattle's larger population and size.
I would say the big brother comment was at least somewhat accurate seeing as whenever Portland brings anything up it always compares itself to Seattle. *shrugs*
I like both atmospheres and the gross generalizations of either fan-base going on here and other places is ignorant in itself; thereby, showing those who make the comments to be hypocrites.
