I know I made the joke months ago but seriously, if the Whitecaps could just box their already-complete temporary stadium up and send it to D.C. or New England when they are done with it that would be just swell. After flipping through this photo album and realizing that this was built in less than 3 months I'm convinced that those two would better off in a small "erector set" place than an over-sized football stadium.

Many sports venues today are efficiently built in a short period of time. The stadium at Glendale parks and recreations also has an impressive architectural design. It had been host to major sporting events for some years now. Also, most of the sports aficionados enjoy the view at Glendale parks and recreation. Truly, it is a pleasurable experience to watch a game in that area.
The Glendale venue seems to be just series of fields with minimal seating and realistically shouldn't take too long to build. Can't really be compared to a 27,000 + stadium that is built for a professional team.
For my part everybody ought to glance at this.
