The Battle for Los Angeles

Y'all ready for the late-night hang tonight? I guess it's not really that late in the middle of the country or on the left coast, but if you are on the eastern seaboard an 11pm start time (ESPN2) is late enough to cause flashbacks to World Cup 2002. Luckily the Honda SuperClasico is consistently one of the most exciting matches of the year so staying awake after the opening act, Houton vs. RSL (9pmEST, ESPN2), shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I'll tell you something though. I think LA should have this one locked up like Lil' Wayne. Tonight will be "Oh. Hell." for Chivas USA's Jesse Marsch-less midfield; the former captain always stepped up in this game and without his bite to keep Lando in check the Gals are going to run right through the toothless Goats. The X factor's are Sacha and Maykel Galindo: can they do enough offensively to offset the damage LA is sure to cause?
