Video: Portrait of a Young Baller Abroad

From the fringes of the Americans Outsourced to Europe™ file comes Portrait of a Young Baller Abroad. It's a 5+ minute chronicle of 19 year-old New Yorker and former Chicago Fire player Erik Hort's time with Czech giants Sparta Prague (he recently moved to Israeli 1st Division side Hapoel Ra' anana). It's kinda cool but I would be lying if I said I'd much rather see something like this with a player I was actually familiar with like DaMarcus or Big Kenny.

I am just disappointed he is wearing an England team shirt.

Moreover, it is through these things that we are able to BECOME familiar with new names and prospects.

is it just me or does the narrator sound beyond creepy?

It is like real Europe...

That stadium is awesome. When I saw them play, the police presence was insane, and it wasn't even for a derby. Definitely something to experience.

curious to know what led to his slump into Israeli 1st division (or is it 2nd division). particularly when the coach seemed to speak so highly about his ambitions and professionalism. even saying he had a long and successful career ahead of him. or is this what he says about most 1st teamers? i guess in the end he probably couldn't surpass his short stature, especially as a defender. and please, no cannavaro references.
