Playoffs Real Talk From ESPN Deportes

9+ minutes of MLS Playoff real talk from Jorge Ramos and co. It's a very well-produced segment and yet another reason for me to regret the sorry state of my Spanish-speaking ability. But if you are more cultured than I and can rock it en Espanol, rock it out then. If you don't speak Spanish feel free to complain about how we need a something like that in English. I'll start.

They get into a heated argument that the Chivas USA/Galaxy series is not a superclasico in the least sense. Young dude at the end has it out for Jorge Ramos because Ramos challenges that notion, then starts talking about the beginnings of the Chivas/America rivalry (which has several different origins, including a media-induced creation, much like the LA rivalry). The young guy looks incredulous that the Chivas/America rivalry is being reduced to a media-creation, much less being compared to CUSA/LAG. He starts belting out that the Chivas/America rivalry is old, spanning decades, to which Ramos essentially counters, "it had to start somewhere, right? it wasn't always big" then pretty much defends the CUSA/LAG rivalry as a young rivalry, but still a rivalry that splits the soccer fans in LA. Then young guy seems determined to have the last word and yells out that DC/LA is a true rivalry, to which Ramos counters, "because they fought for the first MLS titles? that's all you got?"

All in all, entertaining, because Ramos puts the young guy in his place and the young guy can't seem to accept that Ramos is countering his logic.

The young guy looks as if Ramos insulted his mother.

i like how the guy in the middle says that he doesn't lie, and then he lies about ramos by saying that he was comparing chivas vs la with chivas & america, when in reality it was the young guy. way to contradict yourself.
