Video: RBNY's Projection Project

A lot of people ragged on RBNY for their "Running of the Bulls" campaign a few months ago and while some of the criticism was justified a good portion of it was just over the top. At about the same time they did this series of over sized projections throughout high-traffic areas in Manhattan that (from what I saw) was much better executed...which is probably why there wasn't nearly as much to said about it.

No amount of wall projection will hide the fact that our boys stink.

Agreed. We suck.

The projection could've been so much cooler. They could've had projections on walls near one another and made it so that it seemed the larger thanlife players were kicking the ball back and forth from building to building... or at least something kinda creative. To just project up game footage and shitty graphics isn't gonna get talked about.

Does the projection campaign have impact if no one is talking about it?

Interesting. Are these sorts of projection ads common in New York?

(Also: Does one need permission from property owners to emblazon images on their structures? I'm sure this has been a hot topic in some legal circles somewhere.)
