And Now A Message from the President of the United States
T.O.R. is still supposed to be on sabatical but when POTUS is talking soccer, you have to break from the normal programming plan. Regardless of your politics how can you not love it when your nation's top man is bucking for another stateside cup?

yes we can get DCU a new stadium
I can't stand the freedom-robbing jerk (let's be fair: I couldn't stand the past several either), but yes -- this is very cool.
It's understandable that someone who's down with basketball would feel an affinity for soccer. They've got such a similar vibe. It's the grunting gridiron dimwits who comprise most of the anti-soccer contingent.
No telepromter...18 uhs in a minute.
What an idiot. Happy Cinco de Cuatro. Why do our last few presidents have to be bumbling fools who can't speak.
I give him slack for the "Uh's". He had to learn the hard way that folks just sit around waiting for something to come out of his mouth that can be misconstrued on the evening news so I don't care that he pauses. Better to think before you speak if you are in his boat.
I agree SF - He doesn't "uh" because he doesn't know what to say. He "uh's" because he wants to say things the best way possible. It shows thought and consideration.
As for freedom taking...What freedom has he taken? Just curious. Certainly not as much as, oh I don't know, the Patriot Act?
Truthfully, the freedom part is comming down the pike. But just on what he has done so far... he's taken a 450B deficit and jacked it up to close to 2 trillion, we will have to pay hundreds of billions to services that debt and that will effect ALL of our freedom, because we will have less money to pursue our own interest.
As far as the Uhs....there are people in this world that can deliver a thoughtful sentance without pausing to say UH all the time. Apparently, Obama isn't one of them.
