Video: Chicago Fire has This Week's "Best MLS Advert Ever"

Slick stuff from the Bridgeview massive. I'm not sure if this aired anywhere but looks like it was commissioned last season. Regardless it's the best thing I've seen this week. But is it better than
T. Isaac Halasima's winner of an advert for RSL from a few weeks back? You tell me.

Why is it dated 2008 on the final screen? Something is strange here

My guess is that it was commissioned last year but never aired. That or the director just uploaded it.

I really like both, with the Fire one feeling like the team is going out into battle, while the the RSL one feels like the players are going out into the field to enjoy the game. Again, I like both, but I'd pick the Fire spot over the RSL spot.

I didn't like this one, too many effects and none of the shots were of anything particularly impressive or momentous. I liked the RSL better for its simplicity and the genuine emotion.

WHY THE HELL have we not seen this on local TV in Chicago? This team puzzles me.

Agreed. I watch nearly every game that I'm not at and I've never laid eyes on this. It's good stuff though.

can't compare a 30 sec spot with a 1 min spot... that said, the RSL looks better to me - i could feel the build up. in the 60 sec spot, i like the fireworks on the field, and showing the *fans*

just luv that these keep getting better, and they are in soccer specific stadiums!

This commercial was bad. Bland music and overuse of that SHINY/OVEREXPOSED special effect that the Crew ad used. If I want to feel like I'm staring at the sun I'll go outside.

The black and white with bright red parts were cool though.

Who is Sparky and why don't they put him on the field?
