Congratulations to the Borough Boys for getting their long-wanted team...I think. For all the talk of getting a club in the all-holy 5 boroughs, F.C. New York is going to be in USL 1 and play in Long Island. How that's any better than Harrison or East Rutherford I don't know. And how that is different from the old Long Island Rough Riders who played less than a mile away from where F.C. New York will call home, I do not know. But hey, we're all in love with the same game so I'm happy for them if they are happy with what they've got. Enjoy boys (until they fold or get pushed out by an MLS team in the 5 boroughs).

New York City FC was supposed to be the name. How do they mess that up?! And that crest! Did they just give up? "Let's put a huge soccer ball on it and that'll be the crest." Lame.

I'd laugh if they had a USL team because the Borough Boy clowns would have to back up their shit and support it, MLS or not. True colors would show.
