RBNY had their annual Media Day at the W Hotel on Lexington Ave. in Manhattan yesterday. I was crazy late so I didn't bother writing it up. However NY soccer O.G.'s Metrofanatic were there and on time so they did write it up. Check out their exclusive interviews; the Andrew Boyens piece is a classic. And it goes without saying that Red Bulls Reader was in the well-appointed house also and they brought this clip along with them.

RBNY should host their media day at the Holiday Inn or Sheraton in East Rutherford, or a nice banquet hall in Newark. They've turned their back on the New York market, let them fully embrace Jersey instead of half-steppin.
Hmm..seems to me that the MetroStars/Red Bulls are finally becoming a class organization. Good coach, strong team, new stadium...all they need now is a good DP that doesn't cripple the team and is widely known and they will become one of MLS stronger clubs.
