That's got to be the worst case of Awkward White Guy Syndrome (AWGS, pronounced "AWWW, Guysssss") I've ever seen. And this from a white guy who sometimes has to go to NYRB matches wearing my suit straight from work.

I have actually personally attended a whitecaps game and the southsiders are about as sad a bunch as this video portrays. Their main "tactic" of "making life hell for the opposing goalkeeper" is to throw cups on the pitch.

I went to Vancouver 2 years ago, Swangard Stadium, to watch them play the Portland Timbers , and it was far and away the worst, most second rate experience I've ever seen or experienced. High School stadium, awkward wankers everywhere. Cheesy 80's music on the megaphone sound system. Worse than PDL by miles or Friday night high school football. The US and MLS is basically subsidizing the development of Canadian soccer from scratch.
