Video: Seattle Thursday Practice Video
These clips from the Sounders are just so official. While lowering the standard for playing surfaces & stadium size, dudes are certainly raising the bar for online team-generated reporting. So I guess it all evens out (OK, not really but I'd like to be nice to the new kid).

Say what you want, but as a red bulls fan I think that they will be a good side and definitely have better support than most teams (including us).
Long term, the stadium and turf does suck though.
Very cool. Wish the other teams would get stuff like this going. Just seems to legitimize the cause. I know it pulls me in as a fan.
No mention of one certain Swede?
The video and production quality are definitely of a higher quality than we've seen with other MLS teams. Very impressive.
However, I'm not entirely sold that the host has ever actually seen a soccer game. I felt like either he didn't know what he was watching or he was targeting an audience that didn't know anything about soccer.
"In baseball terms..."
Do they really think that there are a lot of people watching practice videos online that understand baseball better than soccer? I'm all for reaching out, but not at the expense of making your core audience cringe.
TFC has already been doing this kind of stuff for nearly a year. They even have a dedicated reporter. Seattle is just following in TFC's footsteps.

True, and props to them. Seattle just does it a little better (although TFC's embeddable player is better).
Sorry, I am a digital media nerd.
That dude is hilarious. He seems to believe the target audience is third graders who have never before encountered the game of soccer
The Field Turf is awesome guys. Get real. It is relatively new and very much state of the art. Haven't heard a lot of complaints from some of the recent clubs e.g., Brazil national, Man U, Celtic... Chelsea in July.
Did anyone notice that not one ball was put in the back of the net. Hope they change that before March 19th
