MUST SEE VIDEO: RSL Youth Player Gabby Okito
Stop what you're doing and watch the clip above (or here in HD to get the full effect). Two amateur filmmakers, Van Wagenen & Isaac Halasim, made a short film about African-born Real Salt Lake youth prospect Gabby Okito that in my opinion is better put together than every non-U.S. Soccer or ESPN produced piece I've seen this year. The story is compelling, the color is vibrant, the editing is crisp and the audio is well mixed; if anyone from an MLS front office reads this, please pick up the black courtesy iPhone and give these guys a call.
This is the type of content fans should see. Something attractive, something energetic, something revealing. And frankly if these guys can do it on a lark in 2 days, you should be able to do it over a season with a budget. Seriously, someone give these guys a job. Try checking out the first goal at Rio Tinto through the lens of their camera without drawing slow breath. It's impossible, unless you are Jon Conway.

Beautiful stuff.
Holy mother of crap that's fantastic.
Hey man, thanks for the support. Me and Art have been working our brains out to give American Soccer the love we feel it deserves. Hopefully someday we're doing this for a living.
amazing! Cant wait to see more of your work
GREAT, I WANT TO SEE MORE OF THIS. The QUALITY ITS INSANE.
Hey man that's beautiful. It would be more beautiful if it had Real Salt Lake's motto (Committed to the core) at the end,
OR
something like this:
Real Football
Real Passion
Real Salt Lake.
Wow, just wow......all 3 videos were awesome......the MLS front office really needs to hire these guys!!!
Fantastic. Great find SF. People like this need support. Good luck to the producers and to Gabby. Keep rockin! Make to world a better place. One person at a time.

Great video. Great find. Definitely need more of this.
If anybody is curious Gabby (Gabriel) played for Yavapai College this year, who went 26-0 winning the NJCAA National Title this year.
How awesome! What's the music on the Rio Tinto clip? Totally sounds like Explosions In The Sky.

Great find. If you see anymore of this stuff, POST IT!!!

Kudos. Keep up the good work.
Especially love the angle and slowdown of the goal celebration, but the simplicity as a whole is what works best, great stuff.
