Video: The Victory Celebration in New York

This was the scene last night at venerable NYC soccer bar Nevada Smith's. Skip to about 1:45 in and you'll see a jubilant scene that usually only seen in this place for World Cup's and Champions League finals. Folks wildin' out in Manhattan for the local side...a rare sight that brings a tear to my eyes.

Not being a red bulls fan, but a fan of MLS and soccer in the US in general, this is a great video :)

great crowd and atmosphere, really unfortunate they get like 40 people at home games. Hopefully that will change when they get their new home.

That being said, I hope Columbus mauls the pink cows ala Lesnar/Couture

watching that crowd erupt at the final whistle brought a huge smile across my face... for once i can say, it's a good time to be a fan of this club! :D

Nice crowd. Congrats on going to the final. I can't believe it's for the first time ever. I guess this could be the last time DC United gets to chant "how many trophies have you won?"

Hey i see me on the table in the background..man was i loaded. I have been to the bar many times for many big games, but this one was louder and wilder than any i have seen there since Liverpool beat Milan in 2005.

C'mon SF, it's already 10:20am. Where's your victory dance over the Frankencooper call-up?

(Notwithstanding that the Guat match is meaningless for us.)

As someone in that jumping mass of humanity, I have to say that Saturday was one of my best soccer experiences... ever.

Can't wait for LA.

now you don't have an excuse if people don't come to RBA, due to the fact you're not a "winning" team.
