
The group behind the Vancouver MLS bid released a new rendering today of a MLS-ready B.C. Place stadium. This would be what the 59k seat dome would look like with the new retractable roof (arriving 2011) coupled with paneling the would create an covering over the lower bowl and block the upper seating tier from view. Not a bad look at all and vast improvement over what's going on at Gillette and RFK.

wtf? Seems like a great idea but I'm a little short on details here. Would love to see more photos of how this would work and if it would seem half-baked or really cool.

dont you mean what is happening in NY/Nj with those horrible coverings? RFK does not have coverings...
