The Columbus Playoff Attendance Crap Shoot

CBus

So what's it going to be tonight Ohio? Will you give a big, Didier Drogba-sized middle finger to the cold temperatures and fill Crew stadium tonight? Or will the same dedicated 11K that were at the K.C. match be without the aid of 9k more frozen arses in seats? If you don't show up for the team at least show up for Sigi...he gets a check if the place is sold out tonight and he's been hankering for new hot tub.

Anyone want to take a guess at what kind of crowd they get tonight? I'm going to say 15K give ot take 500.

Well, Chicago supporters are coming, so there's a couple hundred that wouldn't be there otherwise.

I'm in Columbus and the media blitz is something to behold. In addition, the forecast changed for the better: no longer rain and now a balmy 50+ degrees. From all counts, the supporters section is sold out and possibly the entire lower bowl. You have to factor in a large Mexican walk-up contingent that always comes out when Blanco plays as well. And, as stated, there are probably 100 chicago fans coming. I think you're looking at a figure over 15,000 but under 20,000.

As I'm watching the game, I would guess sold out or pretty damn close! This is awesome considering its on ESPN. Good stuff Columbus!!!!

Upper bowl was sporadic so it's not sold-out? Considering it's the last game of the season, it's expected to be large any place.

supporters section was double packed. there were lots of people like me who technically didn't have a ticket for the section but stood there anyway. no one even looked at my ticket.

MASSIVE!
