Video: The History of Seattle Soccer

Because it's been alleged that I have a Portland bias (and believe me I do).

Great video, Glad to see that The Sounders will be moving up to the MLS. I can't wait to see them play the Crew next year.

I know it's a long shot but any chance that the old USL champs banners will hang in quest?

Western Cities = DC

In terms of being a total and complete to spend time in.

Thanks sf for posting something positive about the seattle soccer. the city does have a rich history in the landscape of the US club soccer, and any bias you may have won't be able to deny that fact.

so thank you

Our clubs have been solid over the last 34 years.

Yes, the MLS Sounders FC are considering keeping the championship banners hanging from the Qwest Field rafters.

F*ck Shittle.

To paraphrase Bill Munny, when it comes to getting an MLS team, "...deserve ain't got nothin' to do with it."

I look forward to mocking your marching band, you worthless, gaping wound of a 'pod.'

When all you have left to attack is the other club's fans, you must have a pretty shite home club. But we already knew that. Vancouver 2011!

Have any of you East Coast Portland supporters ever even been to Seattle or Portland or Vancouver?

Frankly, which city people in Manhattan prefer means little to those of us out here.

Portland fans are just pissed that they have to keep watching a crap USL 1 team on fake grass. Do you have NASL & USL titles? Didn't think so.

go back to your expresso and 25 supporters section. We are in last place yet we have 2x more passion, 3x better mgmt, and 4x more gusto.

PDX:
Not in the playoffs.
No league titles.
No Cascadia Cups.
No MLS.

Be sure to give each and every of your 1,000 supporters a nice big hug.

We'll do our best up here to keep the 17,000+ Sounders FC season ticket holders aware that PDX even exists, but we might be a little bit distracted come 2009.
