If Maverick Was As Good in the Air as Conrad Maybe Goose Wouldn't Have Died
Believe it or not I just watched Top Gun on Monday. If you were an American male between the age of 10 and 22 when that movie came out it was the greatest story ever committed to film. We talked about the KC Wizards remix of the film a while back and now that I've seen this test footage, I think I'm feeling some Oscar buzz. This version does it justice --particularly the casting of my favorite Starting XI girl-- and is much more true to the original film than the last remake I saw.

Can you find out who's paying for the shit?
This beats the living crap out of the majority of commercials for MLS and their teams.
anonymous,
I am.
Sincerely,
KC Wizards Season Ticket Holder
Just when I thought I couldn't love the Wizards and their ownership any more than I already do.....they do this....they had me at hello.
Is there a team and ownership group that has more fun than the Wizards? I know this season hasn't been the best--but I have to believe things will continue to get better.
There is a reason Peter Vermes didn't leave when the Superclub came calling.
This is somewhat unrelated, but.....
I better not hear anyone say anything ever again about relocating the Wizards. All of Dallas (other than the 800 fans that showed up) as well as any MLS fan has to be embarassed by the emptiness of the stadium...(there is no way there were even 1,000). The CAB has never been even close to that empty.
