Y'all don't be mad at our Stuart. Can't you see that the Dutch just used him to get what they wanted? I'm not saying he's a victim but saddling him with all of the blame might be a bit much. So can we please get off his ass a little?

You can't deny that he had a very, very, VERY selfish play late in the game that could have made the scoreline 3-1.
Hey, that foul...can't really do much about it. He tried to clear, caught a leg instead.
But in a position to REALLY clinch the game, he should have done better. Much better.

The free kick sucked, but I was more livid about his selfishness where it should have been 3-1, game set match. Instead I have my Haitian neighbor creating a voo-doo doll of Stu to stick pins and needles in.
All things being equal, we should have killed the game by using our last sub, and keeping posession. Not that 11-men behind the ball junk.

Is anyone else having problems recording the olympic soccer channel? I told my DVR to record from 2am-6pm, basically all of the games today, but when checked it this morning, it only recorded the 6am-12pm segment. Apparently all of the episodes are HD and so they took up so much freaking space it wiped out all of my saved shows and the 2am-6am segment. What the hell??? NBC, do you hate me?!

The only reason we're even in a position where any result at all will put us through, is because of Holden's game-winner vs Japan in a game - so I am told, I only watched the highlights - that the US didn't "deserve" to win.
Cut the guy some slack.
I was proud of all the US kiddos for the way they played this morning. Looking forward to vs Nigeria!
