What Did EJ Do to Deserve Such Loyalty?

Kenny

Bob Bradley has announced who he's bringing into camp for World Cup Qualifying. Sadly it includes Eddie "Let's face it he's ok but not great" Johnson and not Kenny "I am currently hot & second on the Golden Boot list" Cooper.

For the love of God & all that is holy, if Brian Ching can get called in can't we give the big man another look? Maybe I'm too caught up in ObamaMania, but I think it might be time for some 'CHANGE' at the forward position.

Yes, finally a voice of reason!

I'm starting to think we might need change at the head coaching position. This dude is nuts. No Adu? No Altidore? Calling up Cooper just to leave him off the roster? Insisting on continuing this purgatory that is the Eddie Johnson experiment? FAIL.

Adu is on the roster actually.

Watching Eddie Johnson play these last few games, one can only come to this conclusion - EJ simply doesn't want to score.

cooper being left off is really curious. perhaps something is going on behind the scenes with FC dallas and the US soccer federation. given the US's lack of quality forward options and how much the current crop have disappointed the last three games it obvious its time for a change. cooper is a beast and has shown more promise as of late than any of there other forward options save for landon donovan.

*Three* games?

I don't know when EJ scored last. Was it this year? Last year? The year before that?

6.28.07: a PK vs. Argentina

Last real goal was over a year ago. He has 11 international goals and 3 of which were in one game 4 years ago against Panama.

oh i completely dislike EJ. He is not world cup quality ; i like kenny but I think Sacha is better and how about szetela. Either way EJ has no business on the national team.
