Is it unfair to say that Colorado got the better end of the deal in the Christian Gomez deal? Maybe, maybe not. One thing I do feel certain about though is that for the Rapids Gomez is worth every cent and then some. If you don't believe me watch his on-the-money assist on Conor Casey's goal yesterday against Dallas and then get back to me; if he's not the best CAM in the league then he's tied for the title (and it might not be with his succesor in DC).

Yeah, we pay so much for the guy who replaced Gomez, too. This season really sucks for us...

as a dc fan, you really want this one back.
Willing to give up emilio and gallardo for gomez, I would even keep there salaries on our books, thats how much Gomez emans to us, I guess we didnt know what we had until it was gone.
Gomez is a hard working decent player, not great by any means.
Gallardo is in a complete other level.
There's a reason Gallardo has played in the world cup and great River teams, and Gomez would have been a waterboy at best on those teams.
Look at the crap team he's on in the crap league he's in, if anything he's the one thinking WTF did I do? The talent in MLS is god-awful and makes journey men like Gomez into MVP's
i agree with the guy above. Gallardo is not crap, he is on a different level. Who ever says he's crap, doesn't even know that a soccer ball is round!
