The rumors are true: Sports Business Journal says that VW will be the DC United jersey sponsor. Great stuff for DC...but isn't this enough Teutonic taint for one club? Still, $3.7 million will buy you many van loads of mid-priced Argentine talent. Plus, they're uniform colors won't clash with the logo at all.

I wish LA had gotten a legit sponsor. The first thing that comes to mind when I see Herbalife on their jerseys is pot. It might just be me though.

Assuming you meant cheap shot, which I wouldn't completely agree with. I also wouldn't call me anonymous since my photo is all over this thing, as is my name and email address...I'm pretty out there. Also not sure what I'm whining about as I'm certainly not saying this is a bad thing.
