Galaxy fans, tell me what's the most concerning for you; Carlos Ruiz's injury, the effect it will have on LA's scoring chances, or Alexi Lalas being "very happy with where we are"?
I tried to shy away from diving deep into the Galaxy loss yesterday because everyone else was, and because I didn't want to put up a knee-jerk, over-reaction post. And I still won't go too deep into it but I will say the following: thank you LA for being so messed up that for once New York doesn't appear to be the ugliest girl at the dance.
At least until we play our 1st game. C'mon you Reds!

Our team is so far below mediocre it's laughable. The real fun is going to start during WCQ in the summer when Landon, Ruiz, and most likely Beckham are on national team duty.
Out 4-6 weeks isn't *that* bad this early in the season. If it was towards the end of the year, and LAG was angling for a post-season slot? Yeah I would probably be wondering about the team's chances. At this point though I don't see it causing too many problems.
As for Lalas? Dude, your team got beat up at home by Chivas last year, barred from the '07 playoffs, lost overseas friendly gamesto some teams that should not have been that hard to beat; and you top it off by being blown out 4-0 to the Rapids. How can you be happy with that?

Lalas doesn't seem to be the type to boot up.
Even as a DC fan, I am really sick of seeing these guys lose.
Alexi Lalas, confidently destroying one MLS club at a time. New York is still recovering.
It all leaves two questions:
1. Who will be gone first, Lalas or Gullit and
2. By what date will the first one be gone?
And of course, there's the third question:
3. Will Beckham, finally frustrated by the whole thing, throw up his hands (and possible cookies) and leave first?
1. Lalas.
2. Before the All Star game.
3. Where else is he going to go and play decent soccer? Besides it's LA.
