Rumor of the Day: Coleman Looking To Nab Bocanegra

Boca

Here's a bit of late season transfer talk that I hadn't heard about so maybe it will be new to you as well. It's comes from the Daily Mirror so you can take it for what it's worth, but as my man Binks says "even a broken watch gets the time right twice a day".

"
New Coventry boss Chris Coleman wants old club Fulham to help him out by loaning out-of-favour defenders Carlos Bocanegra and Dejan Stefanovic. Having walked into a relegation battle at the Ricoh, Coleman is desperate for more experience at the back."

Fulham should really watch the fire sale mentality as it's not going to be conducive to any sort of long term success.

Why do I saw that considering their current place the standings?

This isn't fucking Norwich. Fulham has the horsepower in place to comeback up in a single season with (dare I say) new management. They've got everything right when it comes to those on the pitch and certainly a strong roster of subs. They show it week in, week out, by playing up to those that are higher on the table and eating shit in the last 15-20 of the game (Manchester United last week would be the exception)

As seen in every other sport on earth and especially football, a management change does turn things for the better in the short term. Especially in a position like now when everyone critical has or is about to return healthy.

Short term losses shouldn't define their future of long term success.
