Kasabian to Pay Tribute to Rene "The Scorpion" Higuita?
Not bad for skinny-assed rock kid is it? That's Kasabian guitarist and former Leicester City youth player Serge Pizzorno's quite nice free kick from Soccer AM which has achieved cult-like status from fans of the band and TV show alike. Apparently the footie fixated axeman is trying to convince his band mates to all grow 'soccer-rockers' as a tribute to Rene "The Scorpion"Higo.
While it's is a nice gesture I'd rather see them annihilate a room than ruin their chances with women. Watch this clip and you'll see what I mean. This is what real block-rockin', arena-destroying power is all about.

WAs watching Saturday morning and they had a guy sitting in a bath of icewater in an atttempt to earn tickets for his local side's match, while they had 10 potters supporters in the background making noise for their side every time they were mentioned.
I really liked the show and the content on it. Wish it was on here.

Jesus. Never heard of that band after watching that clip I think I may have to go see them live. That is how you kick it live.
Saw them in Pittsburgh last year... didn't get much of a crowd, not nearly that, but they're a pretty good show.
Randomly ran into some Northern Irish guy who had a hard on for Norwich City and got into a convo about supporting smaller clubs (yay Fulham).
NYC band called Men, Women and Children opened up for them... they were really good and almost stole the show.
Anyways, I'd support seeing them again. Quality.
