Is it just me or do you want to veg-out on the couch with your remote in one hand and a Costco-sized bag of chips in the other and get stuck into this? These are all questions that you should be asking yourself after getting a taste of the glorious, long-awaited return of MLS Films.
Slated to into crash DVD players in 2008, this beyond tasteful follow up to the 2007 MLS Cup DVD comes courtesy of Transistion Productions and is the second release to surface out of of the league's fruitful new distribution deal with A&E. Seriously, I can honestly say that I got all tingly watching Bocanegra in front of a heaving mass of the Chicago faithful, chuckled at Landon's ill-advised "Blond Ambition" period, and was shocked to see Wynalda so toned-down and completely not-vulgar. I love it.
I have no idea what the release date is but I'll let you know if I get word, so put some beer money aside. I'd bet this would cost about the same as a case of a top-shelf domestic.

Very nicely done. (Although with all those little clips, how could they not show Eddie Pope's header? If that's not historic, I don't know what is.)
Thanks for the heads up that trailer was actually a little goosebump inducing. Can't wait to get my grimy hands on it and see what sober Wynalda has to say.

2. Anyone remember Edward James Olmos narrating the Adidas produced spots 2 years ago? I'd even take Harkes narrating like he did then over the voice they ultimately picked.
