So one day in December I was checking out ChrisRolfe.com and noticed that he had a tab at the top of the page titled "Ask Chris". Being the chancer that I am I took advantage of this chink in the Chicago press dept. armour to ask the national team striker about his off season doings.
Whether he chose to reply due to being a nice guy or becuase he didn't want to go out like Twellman is uncertain. But what I got back was certainly entertaining and covers everything from Hulkamania, politics and the secret to locating soccer groupies (men of Chicago take note).
Where are you now?
I'm currently in Manhattan Beach, CA with the national team, but before that I spent most of my time in Chicago enjoying the weather.
So how have you spent your off season?
I started the off-season waking up early and being very productive, but that only lasted a week or so. Then I realized how nice it was to sleep in and be lazy.
If you where to be arrested for anything this off season what's it most likely to be?
Probably grand theft auto. It's an addiction I have and with all this free time and plenty of prospects in the city, I'm bound to get caught soon.
I understand you are a country music fan. Please tell me how long it will be before Toby Keith announces himself as the Republican candidate for some public office?
I'd give Toby or Trace Adkins about 5 more years until they turn to politics. I wouldn't expect them to get too far, though.
Judging from the photos on your website you are a fan of sleeveless shirts. Would you prefer to wear this one
or this one

Is Chad Barrett the poor man's Wayne Rooney?
White Sox or Cubs? Or neither because baseball takes entirely too long and is crap?
Reds for the first week of the season - then I lose all interest in baseball.

Toby Keith is a life long Democrat - just so you know.
You know I have heard that about him being a Dem' but I feel like he's going to flip any day now. Since endorsing Bush he kept some uber-conservative company and has done a few songs and made a few statements that were borderline jingoistic.
But who knows, maybe he'll bring the Whig party back to prominence.
I think that Rolfe is one of the best soccer players in The USA, Rolfe was in a Nike commercial which had him advertising the new Nike Pro.!!!
