Just because I needed an excuse to use this photo I'll mention that Ivesinho spoke with Goose yesterday and all indications are that Claudio Reyna will be back in an RBNY uniform for 2008. Although 2007 was a let down of Clerks II proportions, I'm going to hope for the best this season.
I submit to you that with a new familiar coach, enough bad press & fan dissatisfaction to fill Kim Kardashian's jeans (that butt is juicy y'all) and a year on the turf under his belt that maybe "the Captain" might have enough motivation and inspiration to turn in a Kurt Warner-like resurrection at the Meadowlands. If you can put away the jaded Aviators for a bit and have some faith, at least going into opening day, not only might this thing work out but we might get a feel-good story out of it. And everyone loves one of those.
And speaking of feel-good stories it looks like Goal II: Living the Dream is finally going to get a stateside release a full 14 months after it's UK debut. Word is that it's going to drop on April 8th (just in time for a marketing campaign to coincide with the start of the MLS season); if you haven't already seen it online, checkout some behind the scenes footage of Santiago Munez's journey from gardener to Galactico.

bout time. I've actually avoided watching a crap copy while waiting for the next installment of a pretty good story.
I should just buy the damn DVD and watch it on my XBOX <- doesn't care about region encoding.
