OMG. So Like Chelsea & the Galaxy were on The Hills.

Did you happen to watch The Hills last night? I did but I get paid to - what's your excuse? You can watch the whole episode here if you like rich, young, supple blonde women and the jackasses they love. Very early on in the show we found out that it was Heidi's production company (LA's seemingly ever-present Brent Bolthouse Productions) that put the whole she-bang-a-bang together for that celeb-orgy of a party before the Galaxy-Chelsea match.

Chelsea gets a mentioned as being "one of the biggest soccer clubs" and the Galaxy gets their name dropped as the team that just signed David Beckham, which is really incredible because you can't buy the cool-cache of being associated with a show like this amongst the MTV target demo.

Apparently Heidi was on check-in duty - too bad she probably hasn't the faintest who any of the players are, which is a shame as that would be a pretty sweet gig for a fanatic like you or me. I really can’t complain though since I'm going to Las Vegas this week on the company dime to blog the VMA's. Ok so Sean Wright-Phillips won’t be there but I'm sure I won’t miss him one damn bit when I am stood next to Nelly Furtado at Justin Timberlake's party.

Yep, I won’t miss him at all...

I watched a minute and fifteen seconds of that drivle and right around "they are gonna be pissed when they find out we were hanging out with Brody" or some brilliant moment like that, I just couldn't take it anymore. I never made it to the Chelsea name drop. Next time could you maybe edit the clip a little better so I'm not all, like, I mean, traumatized, okay? (flips hair).

Sorry, no edited footage was available. Just take my word for it on this one.

I'm at MTV.com. But someone let me know if MLSnet is hiring.

My boyfriend called from the other room saying, "they're talking about the Galaxy/Chelsea game on The Hills!" I was like, "don't tell me about it, I'm DVRing it.....

......exactly why are you watching it anyways?"

**silence**

That show reaches out to a lot more than you would think.;)
