From Scotland's Evening Times comes this tale of the turf. Apparently Celtic defender John Kennedy was all set to go to Mo Johnston's Toronto FC on loan for the summer, but the deal was called off in the 11th hour due to Kennedy's doctor ordering him to steer clear of the fake stuff.
It was bound to happen sooner or later. And now that it has, so begins the staring contest. Who will be the first to back down? Players, managers, and physios who want nothing to do with plastic pitches or stadium owners looking to keep field maintenance costs low?

I hate fake grass. 4 knee surgeries because of that shite. To put this crap in stadiums shows a total lack of consideration towards the players from the ownership.
